Our History

Precision Flow is a Texas-built company with a rich history of serving the flow measurement industry. Founded in 1981 as a side venture, our company began by making reconditioned Barton recorders and orifice plates and performing service work on Barton recorders.

As our business grew, we saw an opportunity in the orifice fitting remanufacturing industry. We remanufactured the fittings of other local brands – such as Daniel – from the mid-80s to the mid-90s. During this time we also began manufacturing ITT Barton MOF fittings and became their preferred shop for several years.

We started manufacturing our own fittings in the mid-90s, starting with 2-inch single and dual chamber fittings made from carbon billet stock. We began drafting new models and expanding our product line, which has contributed to the growth of our brand.

We have always been located in Odessa, Texas and remain a private company that has never been publicly owned. Our commitment to quality and customer service has been the foundation of our success, and we are proud to continue serving the flow measurement industry with high-quality products and services.
